How Our Online Courses Help Students Succeed

We created this sample course so that you can take a look at what online courses look like at QC.  We design our online courses with the students in mind so that you can concentrate on learning rather than how to find information about what to do. So, all of our online courses are structured using our online course template. We do this for consistency, clarity and quality assurance.

This is a sample of our module introduction page, which is how we begin each module. It gives you the module objectives, your to-do list, list of required readings and instructional materials and your assignments, discussions and assessments for the module. In case you are curious about what the assignments, discussions and assessments look like, we’ve create a sample of each for you.

For each course module, we provide the list of assignments you must complete and submit  by their due dates. Your grades for assignments, discussions and quizzes/exams can be easily accessed by clicking on Grades on the left-side course menu.
