Module Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:

 

1. Understand the process of licensure and approval outlined in 606 CMR, including the criteria and procedures necessary for obtaining licensure or approval to operate an early education and care facility.

2. Demonstrate knowledge of educator qualifications and professional development requirements as per 606 CMR, including the necessary qualifications for educators working in early education and care settings and the ongoing professional development expectations.

3. Identify and apply health and safety regulations outlined in 606 CMR, including measures related to physical facility requirements, ratios, group sizes, supervision of children, nutrition and food service, transportation, and other aspects essential for ensuring the well-being of children in early education and care environments.
