Module 7: UNIT 5: Flexibility in Business, and Teams
Welcome to Module 7
It’s easier to drive from Miami to San Diego if you use a map to choose the most direct route. It’s also easier to succeed if you follow a plan. How do you create a plan? Is it better to plan alone or as part of a group? This lesson looks at the best ways to create a plan and how to improve your decision-making skills to make the path to success as easy as following a roadmap.
Module Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
1. Explain the necessity for flexibility in business as demonstrated by theoretical management concepts. (CLO 1)
2. Explain how management and leadership demand a greater inclusion of business adaptability. (CLO 5)
3. Explain why proper team management is governed by the stages of conflict and the role of conflict management. (CLO 6)
4. Identify the major factors in work design inclusive of flexibility and adaptability. (CLO 7)
