Module Two/Struggle for Independence & US Constitution
Welcome to Module Two
This module will include and explain why the term "Taxation without Representation" was used as well as the different steps that the founding fathers took toward independence as a nation. It will also cover their political movements and subsequent military movements, followed by the need for a more formal plan of government that will be known as the US Constitution. We will include an understanding of that constitution.
Module Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
1. find connections between violations of British Common Law and Colonial subjects. (CO 1,2,3,4,5)
2. familiarize selves with key colonial and revolutionary figures (CO2)
3. know the content of the US Constitution and its value (CO2,3,4)
4. identify key events in the Revolutionary War (CO1-5)
